Each of our 3 guest rooms are different. Each has a warm and inviting style of its own.

We have rooms to suit every mood and occasion – and every type of relaxing rural escape. There are numerous thoughtful touches: rich fabrics and modern furnishings, crisp Belgian linen, soft and enveloping bathrobes, Penhaligons toiletries, fresh fruit, scented candles, and homemade shortbread.

In these cosy rooms, it's easy to immerse yourself in the peace and quiet of Cumbria rural life. Of course you don't have to leave the 21st century completely behind. Each room has its own plasma-screen TV and DVD Player

Our Bathrooms have underfloor heating and huge walk in showers, perfect to relax after a day on the hills.

All our beds are made with crisp, freshly laundered, white cotton sheets and pillow cases. Each bed has a duvet and extra blankets are available if you happen to feel the cold. The towels and face flannels are also white cotton. In an attempt to help protect the planet, by reducing the amount of laundry we do, we would ask that you think twice before asking for fresh towels every day.
