New Blog!

So as you all know a while back you couldn't get onto the website, well basically someone hacked it or something. As you can clearly see it has been restored for quite some time now, but a lot of the blogs are missing. I'm afraid that short of re-writing all of them (which I am very sorry but I am not prepared to do that) there is absolutely nothing I can do.

So last Thursday because the weather was so hot and lovely, we decided to have an impromptu BBQ! We were all sat around outside when someone mentioned it, anyway people were rang and Steve and Caroline brought down their top of the range BBQ. All the locals scattered to their various homes in order to find something to bring down to cook!

So the other day I walked in the bar to be greeted by a very drunk Dale accompanied by a very drunk Lee.

So as you all know Nenthead Gala was this weekend, I hope some of you were there, if you weren't you missed a lot of good stuff, including the burgers... The burgers were really good.

So as you all may have noticed it has been raining rather a lot recently.... When it rains on a field, the field tends to get extremely wet and waterlogged. It just so happens that we were going to be hosting the gala down on the school field.

Well while we have been enjoying a weekend away (it was lovely thanks) everyone else has been hard at work here at The Miners Arms! We have the Nenthead Gala coming up this weekend and we hope to see you all there... You won't want to miss our cuddly raffle prize.

This weekend was a good one! But I think Rock Steady Eddie had more than he could handle....

Again I must apologise for no blogs recently, I fell very ill on Sunday and have only just recovered, but you'll be pleased to know I am feeling much better and am able to blog once more!

I returned home on Friday to discover that there was no internet and my phone isn't good enough to do blogs on it, so I apologise for the lack of blogs, but there was a good reason I wasn't just depriving you. Well I suppose I should update you on what's been happening here in The Miners Arms.

So last night we had a pool competition. The locals love the pool table so each year we decide to see who is best.

So today we got out the Easter Tree (yes really I decorated it, I am proud) and the Easter decorations, then I his 17 big eggs around the pub plus some cream eggs for the children to find. 

So music night was on Thursday, there were more newcomers in and if you follow this blog thank you very much for joining us and we hope to see you again next month!

Ok, first of all I would like to apologise and explain the fact that there hasn't been a blog in the past couple of days. We had no internet access whatsoever here in Nenthead. Don't you just love the snow?

Unfortunately there wasn't a lovely sunset the other night, but what a day we had today!

Aaah, the end of the week and the beginning of the weekend, and I am sincerely hoping this wonderful weather continues through to Sunday.
